Voxhaul Broadcast added to LA Weekly’s LA101 show at Gibson Amphitheater w/ Massive Attack & Thievery Corporation
LA’s VOXHAUL BROADCAST has been featured on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” and in LA Times Magazine as one of LA’s “Best New Indie Bands.” The quartet recently performed twice at the FILTER MAGAZINE Culture Collide Festival, are headliners at the upcoming NEW NOISE FEST in Santa Barbara and were just added to the bill at LA Weekly’s LA101 show at the Gibson Amphitheater w/ Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation on Nov 7th.
Grab tix now for their next performance at Spaceland on Nov 3rd with Eastern Conference Champions.
Voxhaul also had the pleasure of being one of the inaugural artists to do a session with Nic Harcourt for his new blog THE LIVE BUZZ.
“the live shows reflect the passion that has etched them a reputation as one of SoCal’s best live bands… Musical influences range from classic soul to Manchester swagger to the grit rock of the Pixies. Marry this with smart but unpretentious lyrics and some catchy beats, and there’s something seriously going on here.” — Nic Harcourt, LA TIMES MAGAZINE
Enjoy the single “Leaving On The 5th,” currently being spun at KCRW & KROQ.
“Leaving On The 5th” from Voxhaul Broadcast’s upcoming debut full-length TIMING IS EVERYTHING, out in early 2011. Produced by Grammy Award winning producer Tom Biller (Silver Sun Pickups, Seawolf, Liars) with additional production from Chris Thorne (Blind Melon), Timing Is Everything captures the power of the quartet’s live performances while still holding true to their trademark blend of r&b, rock and soul.
