The Dead Daisies are vocalist Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, INXS), lead guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses, Thin Lizzy), rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Mink, The Angels), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake), drummer Charley Drayton (Divinyls, Cold Chisel), and keyboardist Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses).

The band’s first single, “Lock’N’Load,” was co-written by and features iconic guitarist Slash and is currently available at iTunes. Accompanying the track is a short film, which was produced by Melbourne-based production company, Oh Yeah Wow, who recently worked on videos for Gotye, Clubfeet, and Aloe Blacc.  Check out the clip above and feel free to post.

The Dead Daisies join the fourth annual Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival this summer, where they will headline the COLDCOCK Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage powered by Ernie Ball. The festival will travel across North America from August 9 through September 15, 2013 and you can find a full list of tour dates at the band’s website.

A free 4-song EP download from The Dead Daisies is available now on the UPROAR website. Entitled Man Overboard, the EP (Spitfire Music) features tracks from their debut full-length, out later this summer.
